Project Scope
With so many logos out there with our stunning African map used as an iconic logo, this would be a challenge. As one of my other projects, Index Africa – Sheq Africa was just as challenging. Just as many South African companies, and clients, we want to showcase just how proudly South African we are, and still connect with overseas potential clients. This logo was designed to connect with online clients to showcase the professionalism of the company.
Goals
→ New modern logo but still having trust
→ Since this is a complete new brand, it was completely new discovered colours for the brand
→ Connecting marketing with clients using strong photography and branding
→ Marketing materials to be used across all mediums of advertising
→ Website landing design to connect clients to the core of the companies values and strengths.
Challenges
→ Creating a modern and professional look which would be unique enough
→ Design assets to ensure that the brand is uniquely South African, but also still different from the other logos which also portrays the South Africa/African map
→ Creating a different strategy going forward with unique collateral
→ Ensure Brand consistency, as well as imagery to tell their story on why they are different
→ Ensure brand awareness as well as the message they would like to portray
The Result
A new brand was born. From the photography to the very clear messaging of what the company stands for, what they do, and how they do it.
The outcome?
Aesthetically beautiful industrial look and feel but still corporate enough. Social banners, website design, printed cycling gear, and other digital media designs were created with the achieved look and feel for the brand messaging. Completely successful the client was happy with all aspects of the design. Signage design was also achieved to match the clients branding going forward.
